About the Role

IBM is hiring an Application Developer – SAP UX to join its Consulting Client Innovation Center in Kolkata. This role is part of IBM’s consulting services and involves working closely with clients to improve their hybrid cloud and AI solutions through innovative software development using SAP UI and BTP tools. As an SAP UX Application Developer, you will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and supporting software solutions that empower digital transformation. You will work with multiple stakeholders, integrate new technologies, and contribute to end-to-end feature implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end features and resolve challenges during implementation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address product issues and meet defined SLAs.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with new technologies and integrate them into feature development.
• Work with SAP UI5, Fiori, BTP, and automation tools in the development process.
• Perform custom SAP UI5 development using BTP-based solutions and tools like iflows and process automation.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E/B.Tech in any stream, or M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT, or MCA)
• Preferred: Master’s Degree
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP UX module
• At least 2 years of hands-on SAPUI5 development
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in SAP UI5, Fiori, and SAP BTP development suite
• Experience with BTP services like iflows, workflow automation
• Hands-on programming knowledge in Java, Node.js, or Python
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to independently handle BTP-based SAP UI5 custom development
• Willingness to learn and implement emerging tools and frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative approach
